Revista Juris Verdi is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal with free quarterly publication, dedicated to promoting legal knowledge focused on social and sustainable transformations. Its goal is to foster academic and interdisciplinary debate in areas such as Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Public Law, Environmental Law, Sustainability, Human and Economic Development, Public Policies, and related fields.


Focus and Scope

The journal welcomes scientific articles, essays, reviews, translations, and research findings related to the following themes:

  • Constitution, democracy, and fundamental rights;

  • Public administration, public policies, and good governance;

  • Environmental justice, climate change, natural resources, and sustainability;

  • Socioeconomic development, social rights, and decent work;

  • Interdisciplinary perspectives between law, economics, ecology, and technology.

Revista Juris Verdi seeks to gather both theoretical and empirical reflections that promote social justice, equity, and environmental protection, encouraging the participation of authors from different regions of Brazil and abroad.

All published content is freely and openly accessible, respecting the principles of democratizing knowledge. The journal does not charge submission, review, processing, or publication fees.


Copyright and License

Authors retain the copyright to their works, allowing the journal to publish the content under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits redistribution and adaptation, provided proper credit is given to the authors and the journal.


Publication Frequency

Revista Juris Verdi is published on a quadrimestral basis (three issues per year), with editions organized through thematic dossiers defined by the Editorial Committee and through rolling publication. The journal's editorial structure includes the following sections: Articles, Experience Reports, Essays, Interviews, Biographies, Reviews, and Lectures.


Indexing and Archiving

The journal is in the process of being indexed in several scientific databases and uses the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS digital archiving systems, ensuring the permanent preservation of its content.

Founded with the mission of promoting scientific dialogue between Law, Sustainability, and Society, Revista Juris Verdi brings together researchers from various Brazilian and international institutions, establishing itself as an important forum for academic dissemination and for encouraging scientific production committed to contemporary challenges.
